15-20% of April and May premiums due to policyholders driving less during the

Auto Owners Insurance:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Auto-Owners Insurance will be
refunding up to 15% of Private Passenger Auto premiums for the months of April
and May 2020. This refund is pending regulatory approval.
Erie Insurance will lower premiums by more than $200
million. For auto insurance customers, that’s an average annual savings of 5
percent. Pending regulatory approval.
Wayne Mutual Insurance:
As part of their ongoing efforts to assist personal auto
policyholders during this crisis, Wayne Mutual Insurance is issuing a 15%
credit on two months of their policy premium. Pending regulatory approval.
Subject to approval by state regulators, Progressive personal
auto customers who have a policy in force as of April 30th will be credited 20%
of their April premiums in May. Personal auto customers with a policy in force
as of May 31st will be credited 20% of their May premiums in June.
Grange Insurance has decided to return premiums to personal
auto policyholders in the form of a 25% refund for the months of April and May.
They estimate the total credit impact to be up to $25 million throughout the 13
states in which they operate. Pending regulatory approval.
